Artist Diana Wilkoc Patton* specializes in watercolor (and acrylic) paintings of gardenscapes, florals, house, and pet portraits. Her work is in private and public collections in the USA and several foreign countries. She also has a line of greeting cards and illustration and writing projects. Diana is now writing and illustrating children's books. She has completed several picture books, a wordless picture book, and two chapter books. With her paintings Diana has won over 135 awards, including five Grumbacher Medallions, in both juried and judged shows. She is included in WHO'S WHO IN AMERICA and WHO'S WHO IN THE EAST. She is a Full Member of the American Artists Professional League, the Garden State Watercolor Society, the New Jersey Water Color Society, the Pittsburgh Water Color Society, and the Essex Watercolor Club, among other arts associations. For many years Diana taught beginning and intermediate/advanced watercolor for the J.C.A.E. (Adult School) in Bridgewater, NJ. During the summers of 1989 and 1991 she obtained special permission from the Musee de Claude Monet in Giverny, France to paint in the Monet Gardens there. She has given watercolor workshops in New Jersey, Maine, and Vermont. Diana has also done reading "gigs" and writing and illustrating with children of different ages, in New Jersey and Maine.
Patton is available for illustration and painting commissions, watercolor demonstrations, and writing and illustration story times for children in the classroom and libraries.
